How to process a refund for a specific transaction on a standalone PAX A77 (Terminal Connect)

Navigate to Transactions

Scroll to locate and select the transaction you wish to refund.

Tap Refund

Enter refund password

Request your customer to tap their card on the terminal

The terminal processes the refund and sends it to the card issuer (host) for approval

The terminal will advise if the refund has been approved

Select Send E‑Receipt to share the refund receipt via SMS or email.

Note: Refund receipts can be shared digitally via SMS or email.
