How to check the COM Port connection on an Integrated Ingenico Move5000

The correct COM Port connection is vital for the Ingenico Move5000 PIN pad to function properly. Follow the steps below to check if your COM Port is connected to your POS.

Device Manager
Open the start menu and search Device Manager. You can also right-click the Computer or This PC icon and select Manage to open Device Manager.

Ingenico Telium Device
In Device Manager, click on the Ports dropdown and locate the Ingenico Telium Device.

COM Port

Using the information, set the COM Port to either Ingenico or the COM[NUMBER] listed.

Open Taskbar Directory
Locate and double-click the C program (should appear green) on the taskbar. It may be in the hidden icons (arrow pointing up).

Open "C" icon (also known as Linkly Client GUI)
This should open Linkly Client GUI.

Enter the COM Port Number you just check to connect. Close the window, your terminal should now be integrated with the POS again.
