How to re-pair base on an Integrated Ingenico Move5000

When the Ingenico Move5000 terminal cannot communicate with the computer, the screen will display Initialising Comms with Base and the POS will display PIN pad Offline.

This can be due to:

• No Bluetooth connection between base and terminal - follow the steps below
• No power to base - check if the charging symbol is displayed
• No Driver showing in Device Manager - check cables and follow the steps in the article "How to update Linkly Drivers on an Integrated Ingenico Move5000"
• Incorrect Comms Configuration settings - follow the steps in the article "How to switch between USB and Serial Integration on an Integrated Ingenico Move5000"

Instructions
Ensure the power cord is plugged in and the terminal is seated on the base and being charged.
If the terminal constantly shows this page. The base will have to be re-paired, and Bluetooth reset.

Once the screen clears, press the silver MENU key and select TERMINAL.

Select Remove Base.

Press the Green button on the screen to remove the base.

Add New Base
Press New Base. The terminal will have to be placed on the base and charged.

Confirmation will be shown if the connection is successful.
